HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session. Designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
Heartsaver First Aid Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid blended learning course, designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for first aid training. Upon successful completion of both portions of the course, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid course completion card, valid for two years.
Heartsaver CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver CPR AED blended learning the course and is designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for CPR and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor.
Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Blended Learning Course and is designed to teach students cognitive information needed to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
HeartCode PALS is an online comprehensive eLearning program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. In this environment, students apply their knowledge to real-time decision-making and skills development.
